Look at the great news that I read tonight! ....

"The Lord will fight for you; You need only to be still!" Exodus 14:14

Yep ... that's it. All we need to do is be still!

That's easy ... this walk will be a breeze if all we have to do is, be still. The Lord will do all the heavy lifting, fighting and work! It is so awesome to be a Child of God. He makes it all so easy for us. I feel so blessed to be in the arms of Jesus! Let's sit back, pray fervently, rest and let Him fight this battle! Woo Hoo!

I Love You all!

  2. Dear Jill,
Maura told me about the shocking news you received. I want you to know that my prayers are with you. As you know there are so many different types of breast cancer, and remember the most important thing, keep a calendar or planner of some type and every time you go to the doctor, write down what he says. when you start treatment, write down your chemo cocktail, down to the measurement. Always double check the cocktail before you take each time. You are in control of your care, and only you will be the most diligent about the schedule, writing down exactly how you feel every day, on your calendar, so when you go to the doctor, you don't have to try to remember what happened the week before, you have it with you. Hopefully this journey will only last a few months, and you are strong you can make it. It is OK to just rest, and let go on, while you lay on the couch and let your body heal. If you are always busy, that will be the hardest thing, and let you friends bring dinner as long as they want, everyone wants to help. I hung plastic rosaries on my bed posts, that were glow plastic, so at night, they lit up the room, and i prayed to just wake up the next day, not monumental strides so i was happy when each day my prayer was answered. Take good care of yourself, allow you family to shower you with attention and spoil you, as you will draw healing from that as well as energy.
take care and I know that you are scared right now, and allow yourself to express emotions. You must have faith in your doctor, and do not listen to other peoples war stories, they do not apply to you, stay positive, as you have pointed out this is a journey and you will successfully complete this journey. i know your family has this disease in it, and if there is anything i can do to help you please let me know, in the mean time, i will look for some glow in the dark rosaries for your bedroom.
    Love
    Mabel
